I was one of the honored escorts to go on the second Hero Flight. Every veteran was truely proud to have been selected for the event and it provided many memories (good and bad) for them to reflect on. At the WWll memorial they were even informed that Kilroy had been there with two sightings of the “Kilroy was here” logo. It is a remarkable monument and a wonderful tribute to all the brave men and women that followed their country and did their duty in all kinds of ways.
