Soldier surprises sister at dance recital
KEARNEY — A dance recital turned into a surprise reunion for a U.S. soldier and his little sister.
U.S. Army Spec. Dustin Stoner, 21, who left for Afghanistan in July 2010, surprised his sister Laura, 14, at her Kearney School of Dance recital Wednesday at the Kearney High School Auditorium.

I’m Grandma to Laura and Dustin and was unable to attend
the recital. I sit at my computer here in Arizona and
cry because I missed this and know that it’s soooo
wonderful to have Dustin home. I held Dustin when he
was 6 months old so have be as close to him as I could
be from so far away. I’ve known Laura for quite awhile
and have attended one of her dance recitals. I’m so
glad that I was able to see this.
