Class D-2 No. 8-ranked Litchfield blitzed S-E-M 47-25 in the second half to pull away for a 78-52 rout of the Mustangs Thursday in Litchfield.
Defense continues to fuel Class C-2 No. 1 Ravenna. The unbeaten Bluejays (12-0) forced 30 turnovers, held Minden (7-5) to nine second-half points and 27 percent shooting in rolling to a 46-24 win Tuesday night at C.L. Jones Gymnasium.
After combining to score 71 first-half points, the Whippets and Bluejays totaled just 25 points in the second half including one point in the final two minutes as Class C-1 No. 10 Minden held on for a 50-46 win over C-2 No. 5 Ravenna at C.L. Jones Gymnasium.

Amherst shut down Eustis-Faranm’s offense in the second half and received 47 combined points from Alec Martin and Cameron Higgins to upset the Knights 58-49 in Amherst. The victory snapped Amherst’s four-game losing streak and got the Broncos (4-4) back to .500.
